Hello, and welcome to the Bellevue West Marching Band.  You should have received information regarding this years marching band season.  See the calendar on this website for important dates. The yearly calendar will be sent out sometime in the beginning of July.  Band Boosters information is also located on the band boosters tab.  Please read the Booster Newsletter for information and ways you can get involved!

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

Sectionals

Please check the calendar for sectional dates.  Woodwinds are on Monday's and Brass are on Tuesday's.  There will be no sectionals over Memorial Day week.

May 18th - Mandatory Parent Night - 7pm - Bellevue West Auditorium

At this meeting we will discuss the upcoming marching season and have forms for all parents to fill out.  Please bring any information on health concerns your student may have and your health insurance information as you will need to fill out a health form for your student to participate.  If you are unable to attend, you must set up a meeting with Mr. Haugen at the school before your student will be able to partcipate in marching band.  This must be done in person.

July 28th - Start of Band Camp

Please make note of this date on your calendar.  It is important that we have everyone during the two weeks of band camp.  During this time is when we will learn the entire show.  When individuals are not there it slows down the learning process.

Percussion Students

Your students should have received a percussion calendar earlier this month.  If you have not receieved this, please contact Mr. Haugen.  The times are also listed on the calendar on this site.
